Term Three Drawing with Children

Why The Art Train?
After teaching art in some interesting venues, a garage, a church hall, the back of a second hand clothes store I finally moved into a converted train carriage in samofrd Village in early 2014. I had to call the business The Art Train. Despite my landlord selling the carriage in 2018 I have kept the name. I now run my teaching business from a purpose built shed in my paddocks in Cedar Creek. The Train carriage is in it's new home, also a paddock which it shares with a life size palstic horse. -
On Line Guided painting : why it's here
Booking and paying on line for classes was my original plan for the new website. For the longest time that seemed too far fetched but here we are, finally.
A friend had suggested I sell classes on line. She is very enthusiastic and positive, she even thought I should supply the paint. Initially I wasn’t very keen, although I kept nodding and smiling, she is very hard to say no to.

Term Time Kids Classes at The Art Train
I have been teaching term time art classes since 2014. Over time I developed a curriculum which I felt gave kid’s a good knowledge of the nuts and bolts of making art and an appreciation of art history. I teach good technique and provide a solid understanding of the elements of art.

Welcome to my new and improved website
I have been thinking and mainly procrastinating about putting together a new website for quite some time. I always found something better to do. The washing, the ironing, groceries, you see how much I didn’t want to knuckle down and get this done.
