Earth V is part of a series of abstracted images.
As an immigrant to Australia it has taken many years to come to terms with the vastness, strangeness and fleeting familiarity of this beautiful land. Finding a sense of place in a new country has been a process reflected in creative practice. Developed from the observation of the strong visual links of nature in the micro and landscape in the macro scale, observational drawing evolved into a series suggesting earth, land or ocean.
