Guided Painting

Guided Painting classes take place 2 x per term and are fun, creative and social sessions

What is it? Guided painting is a step by step style class.

What happens? You will be given detailed, patient and expert tuition to guide you through the painting process. I provide written illustrated instructions for you to follow. I will be there to give individual guidance and help you along at your own pace. Everyone works on the same image, but you are all individuals and the results are all different. You go home with your painting in acrylic on canvas of the session's image

Why do it? This is a great way to get back into art, the feeling of finishing a painting and going home with your own canvas is magical. You will learn a lot about painting and gain new skill and confidence. You'll have a great time in a relaxed environment and go home with a finished painting.

How much? Fee is $75 which includes all materials, home baked treat, coffee and tea.

How Long? Usually around 3 hours

Groups? This class is ideal for a group of friends, family or colleagues as a fun get together or team bonding exercise. BYO is an option.

What if I can’t paint? The idea behind this class is to teach you about painting in baby steps. The hard work has been done for you. If you are nervous about drawing the image... most first timers are, I can provide a canvas with the image drawn on Please just let me know.

ARTy pARTy Painting parties by appointment, at a time and date which suit you and your group. Birthdays, baby showers, retirement, anniversaries, leaving party...any occasion can be celebrated with a BYO guided painting session. These are fun and fabulous. Check out the image gallery for a painting you would like for your group...most are suitable. I need a minimum of 4 painters for an ARTY party. These sessions take around 2 hours and are $65 per person.

Where? Come along to my studio at 130 Morrison Road, Cedar Creek, 4520 ( north side Brsbane , not Gold Coast) in time for your session to start

Bring? An open mind and desire to paint, I'll have everything else you'll need.
