New to Australia, I initially found the landscape here impossibly vast. The enormous vistas, huge skies, overwhelming scale and unfamiliar terrain: the colours and shapes have taken years to become accustomed to and assimilate into visual language. “Beyond Lacey’s Creek' is the view from high on the road up Ocean View onto Mount Mee in SE Queensland.
