Weekend Workshop Sunday June 5 2022 : One Day ONLY

Encaustic is an ancient technique that uses layers of hot and fused wax to make beautiful art. Encaustic is a diverse medium and surprisingly accommodating.
The workshop cover substrates, application, fusing, colouring, etching, collage, layering, shellac, surface preparation, wax application, cutting, polishing, collage, masking, stencilling, gilding etc....
A range of techniques will be demonstrated through the workshop and then you will be guided through two finished pieces with a step by step approach. There will be plenty of room for experimentation and personalisation.
